We are on the lookout for a driven and dynamic National Account Sales Manager for Foodservice to spearhead our efforts in strengthening our brand presence across key foodservice channels.

Role Overview

As the National Accounts Manager for Foodservice Sales, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategies aimed at boosting sales within leading foodservice accounts and distributors. This newly created position offers an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial self-starter to cultivate customer relationships, oversee sales brokers and distributors, and establish our brand footprint from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough research to identify high-impact accounts in the foodservice and alternate channels, including restaurants, hotels, universities, and offices.
  • Formulate and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve targeted sales and gross margin goals.
  • Collaborate closely with commercial and marketing teams to expand the key account portfolio and meet growth objectives.
  • Communicate customer insights and market trends to internal stakeholders.
  • Analyze business performance continuously, focusing on conversion funnels, margins, and broker/distributor management.
  • Represent our brand at trade shows and partnership events to enhance brand visibility.
  • Potentially manage the P&L for the foodservice and alternate channel.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales/business development with a comprehensive understanding of the foodservice wholesale distribution landscape.
  • Proven expertise in managing and collaborating with foodservice brokers and distributors.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with a proven track record of building trust-based relationships.
  • In-depth knowledge of the foodservice industry, specifically concerning national accounts.
  • Experience with direct P&L management.
  • Strong multitasking capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a growth mindset while managing multiple priorities independently.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or equivalent business experience.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
