Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project teams under the mentorship of a senior designer or project manager to generate graphic assets for communications and marketing efforts, enhancing both client and internal projects.
  • Serve as a visual storyteller, developing creative solutions that effectively communicate key messages based on provided scripts, content, or stakeholder feedback.
  • Produce original ideas and designs that captivate target audiences and align with communication objectives.
  • Create and present design concepts to clients or project teams, ensuring quality and consistency throughout the process.
  • Oversee projects from conception to completion, adhering to deadlines and maintaining high standards.
  • Design Microsoft Office document templates for reports, presentations, and proposals while ensuring accessibility compliance and consistent branding across all materials.
  • Leverage industry insights and client needs to develop innovative solutions efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Photography, Communications, Media, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a creative agency, PR/marketing environment, communications/marketing firm, government consulting, or nonprofit sector.
  • A robust design portfolio demonstrating proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for designing and formatting documents, templates, and infographics.
  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation capabilities, with a meticulous approach to detail.
  • A team-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills, capable of thriving in both remote and independent work settings.
  • Capacity to manage and prioritize multiple complex projects while meeting deadlines.
  • U.S. work authorization is required; sponsorship is not available.
  • Eligible candidates must be able to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with veteran status.
