Job Overview

As an Event Coordinator, you will be instrumental in leading our event management team, serving as the primary point of contact for varied events ranging from corporate gatherings to celebratory occasions. Your exceptional communication skills and proficiency in event management software will ensure every event runs seamlessly and exceeds client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the event planning lifecycle, from menu development to post-event evaluations.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather comprehensive requirements for effective event setup and execution, ensuring all information is communicated accurately to the operations team.
  • Manage invoicing, correspondence, and processing of Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) with precision and timeliness.
  • Supervise the on-site execution of events, including setup, service, and wrap-up.
  • Conduct site tours for prospective clients and assist with local marketing initiatives to strengthen community ties and promote events.

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in guest relations, hospitality, or administrative roles.
  • A proactive individual with a strong passion for learning and achieving success.
  • Excellent follow-through skills, ensuring complete ownership of the sales process.
  • Proficient in using event management and guest relations software.
  • Detail-oriented approach critical for managing contracts and payment processes.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or TripleSeat is advantageous.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in guest relations or event coordination is essential.
  • Prior experience in a leadership role is a plus.
