You will also take charge of creating and overseeing content across a variety of communication channels, ensuring that intricate technical information is presented in a comprehensible and engaging manner for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute internal communication strategies that support IT projects and initiatives.
- Create, manage, and disseminate content through diverse channels, such as the intranet, emails, newsletters, and presentations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in IT messaging with organizational goals.
- Convert complex technical concepts into clear, engaging content that appeals to non-technical stakeholders.
- Assist in change management by creating communication strategies and materials for technology rollouts.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of IT communication efforts and produce regular updates and reports for stakeholders.
- Oversee executive-level communications, including reports, presentations, and speaking materials for IT leadership.
- Coordinate the development of multimedia content (e.g., videos, graphics, digital assets) to enhance IT communications.
- Act as a liaison between the IT department and other organizational units to guarantee effective communication.
- Demonstrated experience in corporate or IT communications, supported by a robust portfolio.
- Outstanding writing, editing, and content creation capabilities.
- Proficiency in tools such as SharePoint and the Microsoft Office Suite, along with familiarity in graphic design or video production software.
- Strong interpersonal skills and project management proficiency.
- Ability to distill complex technical information for varied audiences.
- Proven background in corporate or IT communications, ideally with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience within a technology context.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
