Plant Manager - Industrial Operations

We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead operations at our client's facility. The ideal candidate will oversee daily plant functions, drive operational excellence, and inspire a diverse team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations, maintenance, and project management for a two-shift facility.
  • Lead by example, work hands-on with your team and manage by walking around.
  • Recruit, train, and motivate a team of hourly employees to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs, ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and regulatory policies.
  • Plan and execute plant projects and repairs while managing inventory for spare parts.
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly production reporting.

Qualifications

  • Self-motivated with a strong continuous improvement mindset.
  • Proven decision-making and problem-solving skills related to industrial equipment, process flow, and team leadership.
  • Comfortable getting hands-on with operations and working closely with the team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and lead hourly employees.
  • A bachelor's degree and a record of achievement in managing production teams in industrial settings are preferred.
  • Experience with large industrial equipment (e.g., 480v 3ph electrical, 300hp motors) and a detailed, process-oriented approach.
