**Major Duties**
To qualify for an IT Specialist (INFOSEC) your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Extensive knowledge of computing technologies, including cloud services and the ability to assess how these technologies affect DLA's compliance with respect to DOD, USCC, and DCDC directives and policies. Isolates and analyzes relevant data to conduct analyses of complex issues affecting the specialty area and take independent actions in order to address cyber security risks to the DLA Enterprise. Analyzes, plans, and tasks actions necessary to meet USCC, DCDC, and DOD issued directives to develop recommendations for or against agency and/or center adoption of specific technologies/tools, and in advising organizations/activities on security issues. B. Education: Applicants may not qualify for this position based on education in lieu of specialized experience. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

**Major Duties**
- Provides expert level coordination and support during DoD inspections, to include Cyber Operational Readiness Assessments (CORA) of the DLA Enterprise that assess compliance with USCC, DCDC and DOD CyDef Directives
- Leads and coordinates internal Cybersecurity Vulnerability Assessments (CVA) and cybersecurity penetration tests to identify cybersecurity deficiencies for the purpose of remediation
- Responsible for determining how new or emerging technologies/initiatives will impact DLAs cyber security compliance and take actions as necessary
- Analyzes directives released and makes determination on how best to task requirements to the DLA J6 service areas and/or user community at large
- Responsible for developing specific courses of action, writing proposed enterprise cyber security policies that will be reviewed/approved by the DLA CIO, and providing expert cyber security analysis on...
- ...deviations from USCC, DCDC, or DOD cyber security directives
- Provides high-level presentations regularly on the status of all ongoing efforts in DLA related to Cyber Defense (CyDef).
