We currently have a full-time Payroll Assistant opportunity at our corporate office in Asheville, NC / North Carolina.
Broad River Rehabilitation partners with skilled nursing and assisted living facilities to provide exceptional physical, occupational and speech therapy services.
The primary function of the Payroll Assistant is to ensure the timely and accurate submission of each payroll, as well as assisting the onboarding and employees with HCM software access and processes within. Required to enter and review pay data in payroll, as well as reviewing the onboarding data entry into timekeeping software. The position is also responsible for managing, tracking and reporting for various parts of the payroll process.

Required/Recommended Experience
- 2-3 Years in Payroll Processing or Human Resources
- Experience with ADP or similar payroll processing/HCM software.
- Computer software skills- Word, Excel, Outlook, and PDF.
- Organization Skills- Necessary for documentation, reporting, and management of information within the department
- Communication Skills- Professional communication via Phone and Email.
- Multitasking- Ability to manage crucial payroll responsibilities while responding to phone and email inquiries in a timely manner.
- Time management- Crucial to meeting payroll and reporting deadlines.
- Onboarding assistance and providing ADP support to employees.
- Reviewing employee payroll data in timekeeping software.
- New Hire/Rehire Review and Completion.
- Managing ADP Access and Security Management.
- Managing ADP homepage, policies, and resources.
- Reviewing New hire profiles in NetHealth.
- Paid time off accrual setup for New hires/rehires.
- Payroll Data Entry and Review.
- Paid time off balance management, reporting, and trouble-shooting.
- Reviewing, approving, and processing employee business expense reimbursement.
- Tracking ,reporting, and processing bonuses.
- Removing ADP Homepage Access to terminated staff.
- Payroll mail review and distribution.
- Paycheck mailing, cancellations, and reissues.
- Generating reports for Benefits department.
