We are seeking a dynamic and imaginative **Marketing Manager** to be the guiding voice and strategic spark plug for our brand. Position Overview

As the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives across all revenue streams, including rooms, food and beverage, spa, and other ancillary departments. You will be the brand guru, ensuring all marketing efforts align with Parker's unique positioning, distinct voice, and coveted equity. This role requires a holistic understanding of the luxury market and the ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with our target audience.

You will be instrumental in creating and implementing marketing campaigns that not only achieve revenue targets but also embody the Parker ethos in every pixel and promotion. As a natural connector, you will collaborate closely with internal and external teams, ensuring our marketing efforts are perfectly in tune with promotional activities and events. You will orchestrate the timely execution of multiple projects, ensuring every campaign hits its mark with impeccable quality and on schedule.

In the digital realm, you will be a driving force, elevating our online presence and exceeding revenue aspirations through data-driven e-commerce and digital campaigns. From curating our website to optimizing advertising tactics, you will be at the forefront of our digital strategy. Your analytical skills will be key as you dive deep into data to uncover actionable insights that continuously refine our marketing strategies, amplify brand visibility, ignite customer engagement, and ultimately drive bookings.

What You'll Be Stirring Up

  • Website & Content Management: Oversee and manage the website, ensuring all content is up-to-date, engaging, and optimized for both user experience and search engine performance. Collaborate with the Director of Commercial Strategy and digital agency on the evolution of the website's design and functionality. Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure the site reflects the Parker brand, is consistent with marketing initiatives, and provides seamless navigation for potential guests.
  • Public Relations and Social Expertise: Collaborate with our agency to craft engaging organic content that sparks conversations and cultivates a following and engagement across social platforms. Play host to media and influencers, offering them a taste of the Parker experience.
  • Brand Campaign Development: Collaborate with the Director of Commercial Strategy in planning, executing, and optimizing marketing campaigns across a vibrant spectrum of channels – from print to digital – ensuring a cohesive and impactful 360-degree approach that drives bookings and revenue.
  • Advertising Strategy: Collaborate with our ad agency to orchestrate brand awareness and tactical campaigns across all platforms. Manage advertising adventures (paid search, display, programmatic), constantly monitoring, tweaking, and reporting on performance to maximize reach and ROI.
  • Collateral: Collaborate with internal teams and partner with agencies to develop compelling collateral (both print and digital) that captures the essence of each department.
  • Photo Asset Development and Maintenance: Maintain our visual library, ensuring photo assets are strategically organized and readily accessible for all partners. Assist in bringing visual stories to life through photoshoots.
  • SEO/SEM Strategy: Collaborate on enhancing our SEO focus across all digital touchpoints and spearhead SEM campaigns, ensuring paid and organic efforts work in perfect harmony to attract the right audience and guide them to our digital doorstep. Regularly review agency reports on campaign performance, website traffic, and conversion rates, translating data into actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • CRM Management and Email Campaigns: Craft and execute targeted email campaigns designed to cultivate customer loyalty, encourage repeat visits, and highlight exclusive offers. Segment our audience to deliver personalized messages and create compelling content that sparks engagement. Leverage automation to deliver timely and relevant messages throughout the customer journey, constantly monitoring and optimizing performance to achieve exceptional results.
  • Budget Management: Assist in navigating our digital marketing budgets, ensuring every dollar is invested wisely for maximum impact.
  • Emerging Trends & Technology: Stay ahead of the curve, identifying and exploring emerging digital trends and technologies that can elevate our marketing game.
  • Administrative Ace: Be a key participant in marketing and commercial strategy meetings, keeping our content and marketing calendar in sync with hotel KPIs. Assist revenue with our presence on various digital platforms and expertly manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring deadlines are not just met but conquered, all while maintaining brand consistency.

What You Bring to the Parker Party

  • A proven track record of developing and executing successful B2B and B2C marketing strategies, ideally within the luxury hospitality realm.
  • A deep appreciation for and understanding of the nuances of the luxury market.
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines with aplomb.
  • A strong command of digital marketing channels and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proficiency in website management, SEO/SEM, CRM, email marketing, and digital advertising.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • A creative and strategic mindset, with a knack for translating brand identity into compelling marketing initiatives.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for the Parker Palm Springs brand and its unique personality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in PR, journalism, communications, marketing, or hospitality.
  • Passion for travel, hospitality, and food and beverage industries. A touch of wanderlust and understanding of what makes a memorable guest experience.
  • Excellent writing and proofreading skills backed with a creative spark.
  • Working knowledge of social media platforms, CRM systems
  • Understanding of Google Analytics, digital advertising statistics, and social media insights.
  • Experience with design programs like Canvas and InDesign
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Flexible team player with strong work ethic.
  • Knowledge about the culture, attractions and history of the area. Awareness of current events and market competition.
  • Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
  • Work schedules will include working on holidays, weekends and alternate shifts. Position requires working from property location


Salary range is $75,000 to $85,000.
