Position Overview

The Video Editor is a key player in producing creative and engaging video content for our client's platforms. This role blends video production with analytics, ensuring that video content not only captures attention but also performs well across social channels. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to align creative efforts with business objectives, contributing to the growth of the brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation:
    • Edit and produce video content for social platforms, ensuring that each video aligns with the brand’s creative vision.
    • Collaborate with the social and creative teams to ensure content meets high-quality standards.
    • Ensure videos are optimized for various platforms, such as TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and Snapchat.
  • On-Set and Pre-Production Support:
    • Assist with on-set production and pre-production activities, helping plan shots and ensure everything aligns with post-production needs.
    • Provide creative input on storyboarding and conceptualization of video projects.
  • Post-Production Work:
    • Manage all post-production activities, including editing, color grading, sound mixing, and visual effects.
    • Conduct quality checks to ensure final videos meet brand and platform-specific standards.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work with the Post-Production Producer and cross-functional teams to align video projects with overall marketing strategies.
    • Present ideas and improvements based on content performance and industry trends.
Qualifications

  • Proven experience in video editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing creative and technical skills.
  • Experience with video editing for various social media platforms is required
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro.
  • Experience with motion graphics, sound design, and color correction.
  • Experience working with various aspect ratios
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, trends, and best practices for video content..
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Contract. Pay rate: 40-45/h
