Seeking a new career challenge? Then Woolpert is seeking you! Woolpert is hiring a Finance Operations Intern at our Dayton, OH office. This position reports to the Business Strategist and is responsible for supporting financial data management and process documentation efforts within the Finance team. Qualified candidates will be detail oriented, analytical, and eager to gain hands-on experience. Priority will be given to candidates who demonstrate strong organizational skills and a willingness to learn new systems and best practices.

Responsibilities

As a Finance Operations intern at Woolpert, you will:

  • Assist in data cleanup and validation within Microsoft Dynamics, supporting reporting accuracy.
  • Work with Project Finance team to consolidate and standardize internal process/training accounting manuals.
  • Collaborate with Finance Operations teams, including Sales Operations and Project Accounting Finance, to enhance processes and documentation.
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives and reporting projects.
  • Gain exposure to financial systems and software.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Education/Experience: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Skills And Abilities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience or coursework in finance, accounting, data analysis, or ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics) is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Interest in finance operations, data integrity, and process improvement.

USD $20.00 - USD $25.00 /Hr.
