Forward Madison FC is searching for an intern to assist our Manager of Digital Con for the 2024 season. This internship will involve photography, videography, graphic creation, and other assignments to promote the team. The candidate will also have hands-on experiences collaborating with players, coaches, and the front office. The duration of this position will be from March - October 2025.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing and developing static graphics for club social and sponsors
  • Capture, edit and produce photography at team practices, matches, and functions needed to support social and digital media efforts.
  • Help in the creation of short and long-form video productions, shooting and editing videos for club socials and sponsors
  • Work with the Creative Team to highlight promotions and sponsors both on an individual match and season-long basis, including the fulfillment of digital & social deliverables from sponsor contracts for the sponsorship department.
  • Cover live events, creating in-the-moment and quick-turn content exclusive to the club’s social media.
  • Interview players, coaches, and front office staff for storytelling elements.
  • Have and maintain an in-depth knowledge of creative best practices and remain at the forefront of innovation for each platform.
  • Bring creative ideas to the table and communicate them within a collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • All interns are expected to work every home match, playoff match, and special event held at Breese Stevens Field including concerts that utilize the ProVenue ticketing system.
  • Stadium work is part of the gig - this could include tasks such as painting, hanging signs, cleaning grandstands, picking up garbage, bagging ice, raking, sweeping, and many other outdoor tasks.
  • All Interns will be required to participate in weekly sports management workshops.
  • Accept and abide by all terms of the Intern Code of Conduct.
  • Accept and abide by all terms of the Forward Madison FC Intern Handbook and Intern Confidentiality agreement (provided during onboarding).

Qualifications

  • Experience in digital design preferred.
  • Ability to think outside the box and creatively.
  • Customer-service oriented.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

All Interns Will Receive a Compensation Stipend.
