This is a key leadership role based in Sioux Falls, SD, overseeing sales support, aftermarket service, equipment inventory, and company-wide safety initiatives. The role partners across departments—including Rental, Engineered Solutions, and Marketing—to ensure alignment with company goals and continued improvement across the business. What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage sales support and aftermarket operations teams to achieve service excellence and business goals
- Oversee safety programs and initiatives, ensuring a safe working environment and appropriate field support from the Safety Operations Manager
- Support inventory and parts management by maintaining target levels and improving stock availability and cost-efficiency
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, development, and accountability across the support and safety teams
- Develop strong customer relationships, ensuring needs are met and issues are resolved promptly
- Establish and track performance metrics related to sales operations, inventory, and safety
- Collaborate with internal departments to support cross-functional initiatives and business strategies
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
- Proven experience leading sales support and aftermarket service in the material handling or a related industry
- Strong knowledge of safety standards and industry best practices
- Effective leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Strategic mindset with experience developing operational policies and procedures
- Background in equipment inventory management and control
- Analytical, organized, and proactive in problem solving
- Familiarity with CRM platforms, sales tools, and industry-relevant software preferred
- Ability to succeed in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
