Position Overview
The Head of Platform and Partnerships is responsible for the Core Platform that all our market leading solutions are housed in, as well as our Partnerships business. The Core Platform is our secret sauce - it is an industry leading Banking-As-A-Service multi-tenant platform that powers all the solutions that we offer to financial institutions and supports our solutions around digital servicing, payments, fraud prevention, data and customer lifecycle management. This role will be accountable for all aspects of the Core Platform - API dev platform, SDK toolkit, events and notifications, data capabilities, partner connectivity and other components. The role is also accountable for our partner solution strategy and P&L, and will be driving the build out of the platform for integrating hundreds of partners that are a key part of our solutions.
This is a unique end-to-end role that is responsible for one of the largest tech finance platforms and application marketplaces in the US. By building the most versatile and capability rich platform with the best fintech solutions in their class, It will redefine how banks can leverage the power of the fintech ecosystem to bring Retail and Commercial banking into a new era of innovation. This position will report to the Chief Product Officer (CPO).

This position will report to the Chief Product Officer (CPO).
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Management of the Platform and Partnerships function including the API dev platform, SDK toolkit, events and notifications, data capabilities, partner connectivity and our solutions for connecting with core banking systems
- Define and execute on our external partner strategy, including the build out of the platform in a way that integrates the partner solutions in a systematic manner. Works closely with the corp dev function on finding and managing partners that fit our product strategy
- Design and execute on the Product Strategy, including the execution of target market analysis, market segmentation, competitive landscape and comparative analysis, product-market-fit analysis, strategic business case creation
- Management of the Product and Technology Operating Model, including roles and responsibilities, org and team structure, portfolio mgmt. and capacity planning, budget and forecast
- Delivery on the Product Roadmap by partnering with the Technology team on software development and release, and with Sales and Marketing on go-to-market execution
- Engage our Financial Institution clients to establish a feedback loop to inform the Product Roadmap
- Work with other Product leaders to incorporate their solutions into the Platform
- Manage the partners who help power our solutions
- Collaborate on the corporate development strategy on acquiring the right capabilities to accelerate go-to-market
- Attract, retain, coach, develop, inspire, and motivate a team of high performing product managers and product leaders while operating an exemplary product organization
- 15+ years of experience in Product Management, with at least 10+ years experience in the senior leadership, including a senior role reporting to a CXO or department leader
- 10+ years building and launching CLM and/or data solutions solutions for Consumer, SmB and/or Commercial segments
- Experience in Agile operating models, Design Thinking
- Experience managing client facing engagements and assisting with business development and sales
- Demonstrated expertise knowledge of how to build a platform strategy and execute on it
- Proven experience delivering product in a B2B financial services market
- Experience and background within the B2B Software as a Service industry (Saas)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related disciplines preferred
- Experience leading and driving organizational transformation, growth and scale
- Experience scaling a high-growth company’s product management organization
- Proven expertise in taking an established and talented Product Management team and practice to the next level of scale and impact
- Proven product management skills, applied within segments of the payments ecosystem is a plus
- Demonstrated senior leadership and people leadership skills
- High level of collaboration, influencing and negotiating capabilities
- Experience managing high growth products and teams
- Strong strategic and persuasive communication and presentation skills
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
