Summary

Chenega Naswik International, LLC has immediate openings for an Unarmed Security Officer to provide security services in support of the National Park Service in Washington, D.C.

Responsibilities

  • Perform random patrol of building interior/exterior/external grounds.
  • Manage Access Control and Surveillance (entry/exit/inside/outside of building)
  • Monitoring personnel access (entry/exit), visitor control and screening
  • Monitor Security and Emergency Alarms
  • Operate security equipment, X-Ray machines, magnetometers, and trace detection equipment.
  • Advise and report breaches of security hardware to include broken locks, doors, non-working cameras, communications radios, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Possess a high school education or equivalent (such as GED Equivalency certificate) and
  • two (2) years of relevant experience.
  • Possess a current Washington DC Security Guard License with District of Columbia or Virgina (or be willing for us to sponsor you to obtain one).
  • Speak, read, write, and understand the English language, apply written rules, detailed orders, instructions, and training material.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours.)


Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of physical security and anti-terrorism/force protection for DoD facilities


Estimated Salary/Wage

Up to USD $24.22/Hr.
