We are searching for detail-obsessed, highly reliable Transcriptionists and Captioners to convert audio and video content into precise, synchronized text for a diverse range of projects. This is a crucial role that ensures our content is accessible, searchable, and professional.

Your Mission: Convert Sound into Perfect Text

• Transcription Mastery: Listen to and accurately transcribe a variety of audio files (e.g., interviews, webinars, legal proceedings) while correctly identifying speakers and capturing technical terminology.
• Captioning & Synchronization: Create precise, time-coded closed captions and subtitles for video content, ensuring synchronization meets industry accessibility standards (e.g., FCC/ADA guidelines).
• Quality Assurance (QA): Review and edit both machine-generated and human-generated transcripts for grammatical errors, spelling, punctuation, and contextual flow before final delivery.
• Deadlines & Volume: Efficiently manage a high volume of work and consistently meet strict deadlines with a commitment to 99%+ accuracy.
  
  

What You Need To Excel

• Exceptional Listening Skills: Ability to hear clearly through various audio qualities and decipher different voices and accents.
• Impeccable Grammar & Punctuation: Expert knowledge of the English language, usage, and style guides (e.g., Chicago, AP) is essential.
• Speed & Efficiency: Proficiency in using transcription software and tools (experience with specific platforms like Express Scribe, Trint, or specialized captioning software is a bonus).
• Reliable Setup: Own a computer with reliable, high-speed internet and high-quality noise-canceling headphones.
