Executive Initiatives Manager

SBA Pro-Life America

Date: 4 days ago
City: Arlington, VA
Contract type: Full time
We’re looking for a proactive, mission-driven leader to serve as Executive Initiatives Manager for our Executive Vice President (EVP). This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives behind the scenes but leads boldly — someone who can drive clarity, coordination, and accountability across the EVP’s team.

You’ll be the operational engine that keeps the EVP’s office — and her priorities — moving forward. Acting as an integrator, your focus will be on supporting the EVP’s direct reports, translating vision into execution, and keeping key initiatives on track. You’ll need to be scrappy, ambitious, sacrificial, and a true team player — ready to do what it takes to move the mission forward.

This is a high-trust role that requires exceptional judgment, initiative, and the ability to work independently while keeping others aligned.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the right hand to the EVP, helping to align priorities, triage decisions, and manage time, energy, and focus.
  • Own the cadence of leadership execution — plan agendas, drive follow-through, and ensure accountability for internal meetings, leadership summits, and board prep.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and special projects, working directly with EVP direct reports to keep teams aligned and focused.
  • Keep the trains running — monitor progress on organizational priorities, identify blockers, and proactively offer solutions.
  • Serve as a strategic liaison across departments and partners, ensuring communication is crisp, decisions are tracked, and next steps are clear.
  • Create clarity and structure — improve internal workflows, simplify processes, and help teams operate more effectively.
  • Prepare high-quality materials — including briefings, memos, board decks, and reports — with speed, clarity, and professionalism.
  • Own the operational details — track budgets, timelines, and data tied to EVP initiatives, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Protect the EVP’s time and attention — surface what matters most and filter out the noise.
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and be a culture-bearer for trust, collaboration, and excellence.
