Summary
The Training & HR Assistant will manage and maintain the agency's Learning Management System (LMT) that houses some of the training courses. Additionally, this role will coordinate with HR team members and I/T to secure technology for new hires. This position will also serve as the liaison for phone services (both cell phone distribution/retrieval and land line services). This position works with departments to ensure colleagues training needs are met. This professional position will work with all levels of colleagues within the agency, collaborating and meeting with the Director of Quality-Compliance. This position will report to the Chief Human Resources Officer and will receive leadership support from the Director of Human Resources.

Primary Responsibilities
- Oversees implementation of training system to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local standards and regulations, including The Joint Commission (TJC), Children's Division (CD) & Licensing standards and regulations. Responsible for staying current with changes to these licensing standards and regulations.
- Utilizes LMS software and customized programs to meet business needs, including adding/editing/deleting Users, in Relias, ETO, and other data systems, which includes information entry and report generation.
- Responsible for printing and distributing badges for new hires during orientation.
- Works with new hires on their first day during HR Orientation to launch/complete Relias training
- Works collaboratively to secure backup instructors for standardized training in First Aid/CPR, Mental Health/First Aid/Medical Certification, Safety Crisis Management.
- Works collaboratively with I/T, Human Resources, Hiring Managers to ensure I/T needs are understood and set up in a timely manner
- Works with Epworth/Positive Impact hiring managers and employees to set up new cell phones and responsible for retrieving cellular devices upon employees' departure.
- Forecasts training needs, plans and objectives based on internal/external factors including but not limited to regulatory, environmental and agency needs.
- Lead training initiatives through the preparation and coordination of scheduling, identifying internal/external instructors, training materials, programs, and curricula to fulfill organizational expectations, needs, and guidelines.
- Works with programs and staff to develop/revise systems and processes necessary to ensure compliance accreditation and licensing requirements.
- Accurately tracks, maintains, and documents training and all work performed according to Epworth guidelines.
- Responsible for printing hard copy certificates upon completion for employees' files - passing the hard copies to the HR Business Partner or the Director of HR.
- Create/maintain the annual training calendar and adjust accordingly to align with agency needs.
- Other pertinent responsibilities, as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree that aligns with qualifications (i.e., Education, Communications, or comparable work experience.
- Experienced working with the development and implementation of learning and performance support in a corporate environment preferred.
- At least 3 years of conducting training and/or creating curriculum.
- Experienced in hosting and facilitating training environments (in-person and online)
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent administrative and time management skills.
- Proactive, courteous and have a keen eye for details.
- Able to work well under pressure and multi-task.
- Highly Proficient with MS Office Suite (particularly with Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Exercise independent judgment and critical thinking skills to perform all responsibilities.
- Excellent computer skills including Excel and database.
- Excellent communication, organization, project management, and attention to detail.
- Commitment to operating with absolute confidentiality.
- Tech-savvy and familiarity working with complex and layered data.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and team members.
- Analyze and determine the best course of action for each inquiry/problem.
- Prepares and analyzes related tracking reports and metrics.
- Identifies opportunities and supports efforts to build a culture of compliance.
- Pursues knowledge of rules and regulations (HIPAA, Children's Division, CSF, etc.) that impact specific programs and the organization.
- Coordinates regulatory compliance activities.
- Works collaboratively with leaders and other employees in the development and implementation of regulatory requirements to identify and reduce risks, and meet regulatory requirements.
- Supports the agency using the Green Book and tools to ensure a state of constant readiness for survey and compliance laws and regulations.
- Dependable, on-site, 24-hours per week (Monday-Wednesday) some flexibility
- The physical requirements of this job include sitting, standing, walking, and climbing stairs on a regular basis, lifting up to 25lbs, and pulling and/or pushing on occasion.
