Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Testing Lead to oversee the testing strategy, execution, and delivery of multiple projects within USPS’s Technology Applications Division.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing, strong leadership and communication skills, and a solid understanding of Agile and DevOps environments.

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Testing Lead to oversee the testing strategy, execution, and delivery of multiple projects within USPS’s Technology Applications Division.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing, strong leadership and communication skills, and a solid understanding of Agile and DevOps environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage the overall testing strategy across multiple projects.
- Oversee resource allocation for testing activities, including automation, functional, and CAT testers.
- Collaborate with SCRUM teams and Environment Management Teams to identify appropriate test environments per release.
- Ensure effective execution of manual and automated test plans and cases using tools like HP ALM, Selenium, and UFT.
- Drive adoption of Agile and DevOps testing best practices.
- Support testing in cloud-based environments (preferably Azure or GCP).
- Utilize SQL for database validation and Postman for API/Web services testing.
- Perform Chaos Testing and High Availability (HA) Testing to ensure system resilience.
- Communicate testing progress, issues, and results to leadership, application teams, and business partners.
- Mentor and guide testing teams, including USPS resources and vendor teams.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with SDLC and quality standards.
- 5+ years in a software testing environment.
- Hands-on experience creating test plans, scenarios, and managing test cycles using HP ALM or similar tools.
- Strong in manual testing and understanding when to apply automation.
- Experience with automation frameworks and tools (Selenium, UFT).
- Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and version management tools (VersionOne or similar).
- Proficiency in SQL and Postman for API testing.
- Experience with Azure or GCP cloud environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams.
- Proven experience as a Testing Lead managing diverse teams.
- Experience conducting Chaos and HA Testing.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination abilities.
- Ability to coach and mentor junior testers and vendors.
- Experience in large-scale government or enterprise IT programs is a plus.
