Tech Support / Tech Ops

DakotaPro is looking for a field-ready problem solver who wants to grow into a high-caliber network and systems engineer; not just “working with technology,” but keeping mission-critical telecom online in the real world.

The Role
This is a full-spectrum TechOps position: mountaintop installs, firewall configs, phone support. Everyone must be equally comfortable in the field, in the shop, and on the phones. Expect rugged desert environments, urgent calls, and the responsibility to make decisions that matter.

Requirements

Physical & Task Capability
Able to work safely at heights, lift and position 35 lbs unassisted, and hike desert terrain while carrying gear (2km+). Capable of cabling work to ISO standards at arm’s length on a ladder.

Job Duties

• Install and maintain firewalls, switches, radios, VoIP, cabling, indoors and outdoors
  
• Troubleshoot live network issues with urgency and precision
  
• Provide Tier 1-3 phone/ticket customer support
  
• Document clearly and contribute to internal knowledge
  
• Participate in on-call rotation
