What You’ll Do
- Recruit for skilled trades positions in fire protection and life safety—think Inspectors, Technicians, Installers, Project Managers, Designers, and more.
- Build strong partnerships with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and create custom recruiting strategies.
- Source top talent from adjacent industries like low voltage/alarm, access control, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other certified trades.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle: intake calls, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding handoffs.
- Write compelling job postings and run targeted recruitment campaigns to attract technical candidates.
- Actively source passive candidates through Boolean search, direct outreach, networking, and industry events.
- Keep meticulous candidate records in our ATS and ensure every touchpoint reflects our company’s professionalism and values.
- Represent Eagle Fire at trade association events, job fairs, and recruiting functions.
- Collaborate with fellow recruiters to share strategies, troubleshoot challenges, and celebrate wins.
- 5+ years of in-house, full-cycle recruiting experience—preferably in skilled trades like fire protection, low voltage, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or construction.
- Proven ability to fill niche, hard-to-recruit roles in competitive markets.
- Strong understanding of trade certifications, licensing, and skilled labor markets.
- Skilled in LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, job boards, ATS platforms, and Boolean search.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills—you know how to earn trust with both candidates and hiring managers.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple openings across multiple geographies.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable using recruitment metrics to track progress.
