What You'll Do

As our Talent Acquisition Coordinator (TAC). you will be responsible for coordinating the logistics and execution of all recruitment activities at Avalara. You will work closely with a team of recruiters, hiring managers, the business line, external vendors, and candidates. The TAC contributes in ensuring every candidate experience in the job search process with Avalara is positive and meaningful. The TAC will be based in our Durham, NC office and will report to the Manager, TA Coordination.

  • Provide recruitment support to Talent Acquisition Partners including scheduling, and facilitating video and on-site interviews.
  • You will schedule complex interview schedules that may include multiple locations, time zones and social mediams for conducting the interview (virtual and in-person).
  • You will assist the talent acquisition team in research, sourcing, candidate development, and a variety of talent acquisition-related projects.
  • You will confirm NDA completion by candidates, ensure that background checks are completed and manage logistics for IT equipment for new hires.

What You’ll Need To Be Successful

  • 2+ years experience in a HR or Recruitment focused administrative/coordination role.
  • 2+years experience with Microsoft Office
  • You have experience working with Applicant Tracking/HRIS systems
