What You'll Do

Avalara is looking for an Executive Assistant to support two C-Suite Executives. You will have multiple creative/coordination/administrative responsibilities in a steadily-growing environment. You will report to the Manager of Executive Assistants. This is a remote position within the United States.

What Your Responsibilities Will Be

  • You will provide executive level support including complex calendar management and scheduling needs
  • You willcoordinate leadership meetings and events both on and offsite
  • You will collaborate with the internal and external partners
  • You will secure and manage complex travel arrangements, both domestic and international
  • You will ensure best use of executive time and related management
  • You will manage incoming requests on behalf of Executives
  • You will manage internal and external executive events and meetings, including staff, all-hands, and off-site meetings
  • You will manage administrative activities to help complete important deliverables, including reporting, PowerPoint presentations, etc.
  • You will process and manage expense reporting and reconciliation
  • You will provide support on special projects

What You’ll Need To Be Successful

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience, with at least 2 years providing direct support to senior-level executives
  • You have event/meeting planning experience
  • Experience building trust and working with confidential information.
  • Expertise in Microsoft 365
  • Experience wearing many hats in a positive, professional team environment
  • Experience working with all levels of leadership
  • Composure in all situations and can manage unforeseen circumstances
  • Experience working with multiple very detailed projects
  • Experience balancing schedules for multiple leaders

The base pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

Colorado $85,800-$134,000 (annually)

Washington $85,800-$148,100 (annually)

California $85,800-$162,200(annually)

NYC $101,400-$162.200(annually)

The pay range above is the general base pay range for you in the state listed. The successful candidate's actual salary/wage may be based on multiple factors, such as geographic location, candidate experience and qualifications, and market and business considerations. This role is eligible for an annual bonus based on personal and company performance, depending on the terms of the applicable plan and your role
