As the Sr. Graphics Designer, you must have a passion for visually communicating complex security concepts and technologies through compelling designs. This role requires expertise in creating engaging graphics, managing design projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance our brand identity and marketing efforts.
What Your Primary Responsibilities Will Be
- Design Creation: Develop innovative and visually appealing graphics for a variety of platforms, including social media, websites, print materials, presentations, trade show displays, and product packaging.
- Marketing Collateral: Design brochures, flyers, case studies, whitepapers, and other marketing assets tailored to the security and surveillance industry including our distribution channel partners.
- Digital Content: Create interactive and static graphics for digital campaigns, including email templates, web banners, infographics, and video animations.
- Product Visualization: Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to design product.
- Creative Leadership: Provide mentorship to junior designers, offering feedback and guidance to elevate the overall quality of the creative output.
- Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date on design trends, security industry advancements, and competitor strategies to deliver cutting-edge visuals.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience as a graphic designer, preferably in the technology, security, or surveillance industry.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects).
- Familiarity with 3D design tools (e.g., Blender, Cinema 4D) is a plus.
- Proficiency in video editing and motion graphics is an advantage.
- Creativity: Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of creative work, including technical product designs and marketing collateral.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional eye for detail, color, typography, and layout.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to present and explain design concepts effectively.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the security and surveillance industry is a significant advantage.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time if needed.
- May be required to stand for long periods of time.
- Constantly operates a computer and possibly other work-related machinery.
- Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing, or rotation of the wrist(s) and spine including repetitive motions.
- Constantly receiving detailed information through oral communication.
- Constant talking, expressing, or exchanging ideas by means of verbal communication.
- Constant clarity of vision at near and/or far distances.
- May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions and noise levels.
