The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the bank’s finance and accounting functions. This role plays a key part in analyzing financial and performance trends and supporting strategic decision-making. While the role includes ownership of the Bank’s CECL Model, the role will also focus on broader financial and accounting special projects.

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the bank’s finance and accounting functions. This role plays a key part in analyzing financial and performance trends and supporting strategic decision-making. While the role includes ownership of the Bank’s CECL Model, the role will also focus on broader financial and accounting special projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of executive-level reporting packages
- Support internal and external audit and regulatory requests
- Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and Credit teams to ensure accurate financial data, analysis, and reporting
- Prepare analysis on financial data sets for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the development of variance analyses and trend analysis
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to work with large data sets.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
- Understanding of audit and regulatory frameworks.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, credit, or audit
- Experience in banking, credit, or financial services is preferred.
- Exposure to CECL accounting or modeling is a plus but not required.
- Power BI experience is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or business administration required.
- Full-Time.
- None.
- 10% - May attend conferences periodically
- Conditions involve lifting no more than ten pounds, sitting most of the time, but may involve walking, moving, or standing for brief periods, and occasionally lifting and carrying articles like files, ledgers, folders, etc.
