The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the bank’s finance and accounting functions. This role plays a key part in analyzing financial and performance trends and supporting strategic decision-making. While the role includes ownership of the Bank’s CECL Model, the role will also focus on broader financial and accounting special projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of executive-level reporting packages
• Support internal and external audit and regulatory requests
• Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and Credit teams to ensure accurate financial data, analysis, and reporting
• Prepare analysis on financial data sets for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the development of variance analyses and trend analysis

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to work with large data sets.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience

• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, credit, or audit
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in banking, credit, or financial services is preferred.
• Exposure to CECL accounting or modeling is a plus but not required.
• Power BI experience is a plus
  
  

Formal Education & Certification

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or business administration required.
  
  

Work Status

• 10% - May attend conferences periodically
