Job Summary:

Temp to Perm Position. We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible individual to join our team as a in a primarily janitorial role that includes maintaining the cleanliness of a controlled manufacturing white room, controlled manufacturing facility & warehouse, and office space. This role is essential in maintaining clean and safe environment for medical component manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the white room, other controlled manufacturing environments, and general office space within our facility. This position requires strict adherence to cleanliness protocols to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of all surfaces, floors, and equipment within the white room, ensuring all areas meet the required hygiene and safety standards.
  • Follow strict cleaning procedures and use specialized cleaning products and tools to maintain a controlled environment.
  • Ensure all cleaning activities are conducted in compliance with established safety regulations, hygiene protocols, industry standards (e.g., GMP, FDA, ISO), and company protocols.
  • Monitor and inspect cleanliness levels regularly, reporting any potential issues or areas of concern to the supervisor.
  • Perform routine checks on cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting shortages or malfunctions promptly.
  • Adhere to all personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements and ensure it is worn at all times during cleaning tasks.
  • Assist in maintaining an inventory of cleaning supplies, ensuring materials are replenished as necessary.
  • Keep accurate records of cleaning schedules and activities for auditing purposes.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain a safe working environment, including reporting any hazards or safety concerns.
  • Additional facility and office cleaning as required.
  • Additional manufacturing related jobs as required.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a cleaning role, preferably in a medical, pharmaceutical, or laboratory environment, is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety protocols in controlled environments.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures with precision.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and move cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, if necessary.
  • Driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs safely.
  • Must be able to wear appropriate PPE (e.g., gloves, masks, gowns) during cleaning activities.
