About The Role

The Sales Executive for NHS will join a highly experienced team with deep knowledge and experience within the home improvement industry. Working on this long-tenured event, you will prospect for new business and develop existing accounts within your territory. You will sell not only booth space, but promotional opportunities and digital products to help customers showcase their brand and exceed their goals for the show. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced B2B salesperson who is able to manage a unique customer base, is highly consultative and skilled at building deep customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Working with Sales Management to develop individual selling strategy. Generating prospects, pipeline and attainment of sales target for booth and media sales
  • Adhering to all selling process best practices and standards. This will include inputting accurate and complete data, managing territory, daily output goals, and weekly strike rates.
  • Monitoring industry trends, competitor activity, climate, players, distribution and issues to make recommendations regarding sales strategy on specific events
  • Selling at competing shows and preparing show analysis and reports in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Managing and broadening Exhibitor Prospect Lists and generate targeted lists to increase the probability of sales
  • Forecasting revenue projections
  • Obtaining signed contracts and ensuring that payments for all space reservations are made in full in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Have a comprehensive understanding of the home improvement industry
  • Enjoy cold calling and prospecting for new business
  • Possess outstanding interpersonal skills; ability to communicate and present in a professional manner
  • Demonstrate a value-based selling approach that delivers solutions for our clients
  • Have well developed organizational skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Be able to quickly learn and utilize sales data systems. Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Salesforce, Word and Power Point
