Sales Analyst (Hybrid)

We are looking for a Sales Analyst to support The Home Depot. Candidates must enjoy working with data and collaborating across teams to support business decisions. This hybrid position offers flexibility to work from home as well as from the office in Smyrna, GA when customers are on site.

A successful candidate will possess experience working with The Home Depot, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with business unit sales leads, marketing, other analysts, and key stakeholders. Proficiency with Vendor Drill/Data Connection, along with strong Microsoft program skills—including Excel's Power Query, Power BI, and PowerPoint—is highly valued.

Job Responsibilities

• Analyze sales, promotions, and inventory to support strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and analytics teams to drive business outcomes.
• Build dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Excel Power Query, and more.
• Present insights to internal teams and retail partners in monthly/quarterly reviews.
• Identify trends, opportunities, and process improvements.
• Act as a liaison between internal teams and retail partners.

Experience

• 3–5 years in a data or analytics-based role (retail/supply chain a plus).
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills with data.
• Experience blending data from multiple sources and building interactive dashboards.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, analytics, or related field
