The Nurse practices independently in a clinical setting, providing routine and complex care while managing long-term goals and contingencies.
- Provides nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Addresses patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs, and administers medications and treatments per protocol.
- Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided.
- Assesses learning needs and educates patients, families, and caregivers.
- Meets core competency expectations and adheres to ANA standards.
- Qualifications include a BSN (preferred), 1-year nursing experience (preferred), RN license, BLS, and ACLS certification.
- New hires must attend orientation within 30 days, with competency validations and annual requirements.
- Work schedule is from 7AM to 7PM, part-time, not exceeding 950 characters.
