This position requires an experienced nurse practicing independently in a similar clinical setting, providing both routine and complex care while managing long-term goals and contingencies.
- Demonstrates competency in nursing processes such as assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Addresses psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with practice standards.
- Administers medications and treatments using appropriate protocols, monitors effects, and documents care.
- Assesses learning needs and educates patients, families, and caregivers.
- Meets competency expectations related to leadership, self, others, or leaders of leaders.
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred), at least 1 year of related experience (preferred), and a valid RN license and BLS certification. ACLS certification is required prior to start.
- New hires must attend orientation within 30 days, complete competency validations, and obtain additional certifications within specified grace periods.
- Work schedule is from 7 PM to 7 AM, full-time position.
