You will be responsible for establishing a safe and effective learning environment, both indoors and during outdoor activities. As an educator, you will develop individualized learning objectives for each child, conduct ongoing assessments to track their progress, and help facilitate smooth transitions into educational settings. Moreover, you will actively engage parents in their child’s developmental journey.

You will be responsible for establishing a safe and effective learning environment, both indoors and during outdoor activities. As an educator, you will develop individualized learning objectives for each child, conduct ongoing assessments to track their progress, and help facilitate smooth transitions into educational settings. Moreover, you will actively engage parents in their child’s developmental journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct educational instruction to a cohort of children, ensuring their needs are met in a culturally sensitive manner.
- Focus on the initial outcomes from educational assessments conducted upon each child’s admission to the program.
- Supervise and support educational field trips, ensuring safety and engagement.
- Attend and engage in staff meetings and professional development training.
- Travel with youth groups, as required, to various locations across the country for educational purposes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Strong communication skills that foster collaboration and parent involvement.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and effectively prioritize tasks.
- Enthusiasm and dedication to support the growth and development of children.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- BA/BS Degree in Child Development or a related field with a focus on Infant and Toddler Development.
- A minimum of two (2) years of successful experience as an infant/toddler teacher or caregiver.
- Valid State Teacher Certification.
- Valid Driver's License, Personal Vehicle, and Liability Insurance.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).
