Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Virtual K-12 Intervention Specialist to join our esteemed team. This fully remote position offers the flexibility to work from home while making a significant impact on students with diverse learning needs across Ohio.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique learning requirements.
• Provide virtual instruction in both small group and one-on-one settings through teletherapy platforms.
• Collaborate effectively with general education teachers and support staff to adapt curriculum and ensure all accommodations are met.
• Continuously monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional methods as necessary to optimize learning outcomes.
• Maintain consistent communication with parents, teachers, and administrators regarding student progress and needs.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant Ohio state and federal special education regulations, including IDEA and Section 504.
• Utilize technology to cultivate an engaging and inclusive virtual classroom environment.

• Strong knowledge of virtual instructional strategies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• A valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License (K-12).
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Intervention Specialist, with a preference for virtual experience.
