Key Responsibilities

  • Handle a substantial volume of inbound and outbound calls from clients throughout the country.
  • Offer precise and informative guidance regarding our range of mortgage products and services.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients by actively listening and responding to their specific requirements.
  • Aid clients in navigating their mortgage inquiries, providing tailored recommendations.
  • Collaborate effectively with sales and loan officer teams to ensure seamless communication.
  • Maintain up-to-date client information and follow up on leads utilizing our advanced CRM system.
  • Contribute to business growth through exemplary customer service practices.
  • Adhere to company-specific protocols and weekly schedules.
  • Engage with clients to determine the most suitable mortgage products, secure loan locks at the point of sale, and submit preliminary paperless loan applications.
  • Guarantee compliance with our 14-day closing requirements and related stipulations.
  • Manage various loan types, including Conventional, VA, FHA, and USDA.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional communication skills and professionalism in phone etiquette.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to flourish in a demanding, high-call volume setting.
  • Experience in a call center or customer service role; prior mortgage or finance background is advantageous.
  • Competence in establishing rapport with customers and ensuring a positive client experience.
  • A foundational understanding of mortgage terminology and products is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Current, valid NMLS license or appointment in good standing.
  • Minimum of two years of sales experience, with at least two years as a Mortgage Loan Originator or in a related field.
  • For newly licensed candidates, a minimum of five years of sales experience is essential, along with a commitment to a month-long training program.
  • Flexibility to work approximately 40-45 hours per week.
