We are seeking a skilled Reliability Engineer to optimize production reliability and drive continuous improvement in battery pack manufacturing. The role will focus on minimizing downtime, enhancing equipment performance, and streamlining maintenance processes through data-driven strategies and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate is a proactive engineer with a passion for optimizing manufacturing systems, highly adaptable, demonstrates a strong ability to learn, and approaches challenges with persistence and attention to detail, ensuring consistency and precision in all aspects of the work.
What You'll Do
Optimize Equipment Reliability: Develop and implement customized proactive maintenance tasks to eliminate recurring equipment failures, catalog and manage a database of spare parts to improve inventory control Data-Driven Maintenance Optimization: Utilize data analytics tools to build interactive dashboards that pinpoint high-downtime equipment stations, enabling targeted interventions to enhance throughput and reduce bottlenecks Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Lead incremental equipment enhancement projects with a practical, hands-on approach, utilizing reverse engineering, root cause analysis, 3D modeling, CNC machining, and advanced material selection to optimize reliability and equipment uptime Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to proactively identify and troubleshoot issues, refine manufacturing processes, and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency and reliability
What You'll Bring
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Reliability Engineering, or equivalent experience 3+ years of experience in reliability engineering, maintenance optimization, and manufacturing process improvements in automotive manufacturing or high-volume production environments Excellent problem-solving, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills Knowledge of predictive maintenance techniques, spare parts management, and process automation Proficiency in data analytics tools (SQL, Power BI, Tableau preferred) Practical experience with reverse engineering, root cause analysis, CNC machining, and 3D modeling (SolidWorks, AutoCAD preferred) Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) principles
