The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit provides comprehensive patient and family support, advocating for physical, emotional, and spiritual needs to enhance outcomes in a safe environment.
- Performs versatile nursing roles demonstrating professionalism, autonomy, and excellence using evidence-based practices.
- Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team, serving as guide, teacher, leader, and protector.
- Ensures compliance with Ohio Nurse Practice Act, ethics, and regulatory standards.
- Minimum education required is an Associate degree in Nursing; BSN preferred.
- Must hold a valid Ohio RN license and current AHA CPR certification.
- No prior experience necessary.
- Requires strong multitasking, organization, interpersonal, communication skills, and basic computer knowledge.
