We are looking for a Quality Engineer Technician to join our growing organization!

Qualifications

General Position Summary

The Quality Control Assistant (QCA) is primarily responsible for monitor quality improvement activities between CORE and its suppliers. Monitors techniques used for inspecting and testing products to ensure they meet the necessary standards in the fitness equipment industry. This usually involves reviewing procedures and tests intended to find flaws or defects in electrical-mechanical components or manufacturing materials. The QCA works monitors reliability initiatives including but not limited to corrective actions and in-house testing verification. The position requires some travel to visit US customers and service providers.

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain inspection reports.
  • Ensure product compliance with industry standards, as well as company standards and specifications.
  • Perform and/or evaluate inspections across all stages of production.
  • Prepare and maintain test data for review.
  • Evaluate data and draft reports, noting any relevant deviations from existing standards.
  • Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement new methods accordingly.
  • Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency.

Specific Job Requirements

  • Fluent English in both verbal and written communications.
  • Experience with visual and mechanical inspection techniques following SOPs and Sampling plans.
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Knowledge of corrective and preventive action programs a plus.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, willingness to learn new skills and behaviors, self-motivated reliable team player.
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs.
  • Ability to work mandatory overtime.
  • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Education And Experience Requirements

  • Entry level position
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of inspection and/or production experience
  • Six Sigma training/certification a plus
  • Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access; Statistical software.
  • Bilingual in Mandarin a plus
