We are seeking a highly motivated Program Manager to support our USAF contract on Robbins AFB, GA. This project is in support of the 402d Software Engineering Group (SWEG) at Robins Air Force Base, GA. The Program Manager supports the 402d SWEG’s mission by working closely with engineers, developers, administrators and other technical teams supporting a variety of weapon system platforms and airframes such as the F-15 and F-35 fighters, the B-1B bomber, the C-5 and C-130 cargo planes, the MQ-9 Reaper and the HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopter.
The PM is not an onsite position but travel to Robins AFB, GA is required monthly to maintain Customer Relationship Management (CRM), address issues, and ensure performance standards are maintained. The ideal candidate is a program manager with a technical background, that has extensive knowledge of United States Air Force policy and procedures and has demonstrated success while managing all aspects of technical projects/programs.

Responsibilities
- Manages several teams performing software development, engineering, information assurance, cyber and sustainment activities
- Manages the contractual, financial, performance and schedule aspects of the program
- Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance
- Submits deliverables in accordance with contractual requirements
- Reviews and approves invoices, internal work orders and contractual changes
- Conducts forecasting, performance and budgetary analysis and reviews
- Briefs leadership on overall performance of contract
- Prepares reports, metrics, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders
- Performs customer relationship management (CRM) to include regular face-to-face meetings, briefings, and sessions with key stakeholders to manage customer-facing project milestones, deliverables, and communication
- Identify, support, manage and mitigate risks for all functional areas of the project
- Performs hiring functions, such as opening requisitions, screening and interviewing candidates
- Coordinates onboarding/offboarding of employees and approve timecards, bonuses, raises, and promotions
- Provide mentorship to subordinates and work with staff on performance feedback, career growth, conflict resolution, and retention activities.
- Work collaboratively with ASRC Federal colleagues on intercompany initiatives, growth-oriented activities, and strategy development
- Secret security clearance
- BS/BA
- Ten (10) years experience. The following are examples of qualifying experience:
- Submitting deliverables in accordance with contractual requirements
- Reviewing/approving invoices, internal work orders and contractual changes
- Conducting forecasting, performance and budgetary analysis and reviews
- Briefing stakeholders on overall performance of contract
- Performing customer relationship management (CRM) to include face-to-face meetings, briefings, and sessions
- Identifying, assessing, managing and mitigating risks for all functional areas of a project
- Performing hiring functions, such as opening requisitions, screening and interviewing candidates
- Coordinating onboarding/offboarding of employees and approving timecards, bonuses, raises, promotions and terminations
- Providing leadership and mentorship to diverse technical teams and working with staff on performance feedback, career growth, conflict resolution, and retention activities.
- Managing senior technical personnel (Developers, Engineers, Administrators)
- Managing activities in Agile environments
- Managing IT Service/Support projects/contracts
- Conducting requirements analysis of PWS/SOWs and other governing documents to identify risks and challenges, resource requirements, and opportunities for growth and improvement
- Must be able to travel to Robins AFB, GA as needed. Could be 1 or more times a month.
- Possess strong organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- US Air Force experience or experience supporting US Air Force programs
- Engineering or Software Development experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Comptia Security+
- Facilities are open 6am-6pm - you can work with your customer leadership to set hours
- You can flex time during the 2 week pay cycle - avoid using PTO for appointments
- A compressed work schedule may be available at the discretion of work center leadership (i.e. 4/10 or 9/80)
