At Avidyne, we build next-generation avionics that make flying safer, simpler, and more accessible. We’re hiring a Production Manager to lead day-to-day operations for our avionics production team. In this role, you’ll oversee the assembly and test readiness of complex, high-reliability electronic systems—ensuring products move through the shop floor with accuracy, efficiency, and full traceability.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong technical roots in electronics manufacturing who’s has already or is now ready to take full ownership of a production floor. You'll directly lead technicians and assemblers while working closely with test, technical support, engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to meet build, quality, and compliance goals.

What You’ll Do
- Manage daily production activity—build schedules, team priorities, and readiness for ATP (Acceptance Test Procedure).
- Lead a team of technicians and assemblers, ensuring clear expectations, accountability, and ongoing development.
- Drive process discipline across ERP and MES systems, with accurate data capture, work order management, and serialized tracking.
- Coordinate test integration and quality compliance, ensuring ATP and inspection records are complete and audit-ready.
- Monitor performance metrics (delivery, yield, cycle time) and lead improvement efforts using lean and data-driven tools.
- Contribute to engineering change management, manufacturability feedback, and continuous improvement across functions.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in electronics or avionics manufacturing, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of ATP testing, PCB/cable/system integration, and build processes for high-reliability products.
- Proficiency with ERP and MES systems, and experience maintaining production control in a regulated environment.
- Understanding of AS9100, IPC-A-610/620, and FAA compliance requirements.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation—BOMs, travelers, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- A calm, clear, and assertive leadership style—focused on process, people, and performance.
- Experience in aerospace, medical device, automotive safety, or other high-reliability electronics industries.
- Involvement in ATP development or test system integration.
- Familiarity with configuration control, change management, and lean manufacturing tools.
- Background supporting quality or customer audits in regulated environments.
- Build and deliver precision electronics for critical aviation applications.
- Lead an experienced team in a structured, growth-oriented production environment.
