What a Day Looks Like:
- Lead the planning and execution of prototype and production builds across engineering and manufacturing, including procurement, kitting, and hands-on build support.
- Facilitate smooth transitions of products into full-scale manufacturing.
- Drive verification and reliability efforts by defining and tracing requirements.
- Oversee product data management by establishing Bill of Materials (BOM) strategies in collaboration with manufacturing, and managing part creation, engineering change notices (ECNs), and deviations.
- Ensure product compliance by creating necessary documentation and collaborating with cross-functional teams and external customers.
- Communicate effectively across various platforms (teleconferences, email, and in-person) to convey technical information to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Support project management by contributing accurate technical input for proposals, including resource planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Oversee the development of work instructions, processes, and training by collaborating with technicians to support production employees.
- Deliver product support to both internal and external Spartronics customers.
Education/License/Experience required:
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 5 – 8 years related work experience.
- Strong experience in PCB manufacturing (preferred).
- Working knowledge of engineering practices/procedures regarding electronic components and manufacturing.
- Utilize experience/judgment to develop solutions for highly complex engineering issues.
- Advanced level failure analysis and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Work independently and in a team environment.
- Advanced level computer skills including Microsoft Office and CAD.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing principles including Six Sigma and Lean.
- Excellent conflict resolution skills.
- Strong ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks effectively.

- Ability to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance.
