EquipmentShare is Hiring a Product Analyst

EquipmentShare is searching for a Product Analyst for our corporate office in Columbia, Mo., to support our Business Analytics team as the department continues to grow. This new team member may be based anywhere in the United States and offers a remote/hybrid work option, but must be able to meet with management in person at least quarterly.

As a Product Analyst, you will use your data expertise to help departments throughout the company with analytics needs. These projects are wide ranging and could include anything from finance and collections to telematics and fleet data.

Salary range: $104k-$111k. Factors including past experience and location may affect final compensation rate.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Support product leadership team by managing metrics and performing data mining to find quality insights and recommendations for product growth.
  • Identify and validate accuracy of product’s Key Performance Indicators and communicate valuable discoveries to stakeholders.
  • Partner with others in terms of approach and execution to strengthen decision making as it relates to product focus areas.
  • Create reports and dashboards to share results of your findings with members of the product leadership team.
  • Understand user behaviors and long term trends in the adoption of our products to identify opportunities for product improvement resulting in growth.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Experience supporting product team
  • Advanced Level SQL along with BI Dashboard experience
  • Comfort working in a highly agile, intensely iterative software development process
  • Excellent proficiency in English
  • Effective communication skills: Regularly achieve consensus with peers, explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and provide clear status updates
  • Experience owning a project from conception to production, including proposal, discussion, and execution
  • Self-motivated and self-managing, with strong organizational skills

Education And Experience

  • Bachelors degree, required
  • At least 4 years of experience focused on feature and usage metrics, A/B testing, conversion and retention, segmentation, and developing user archetypes and their usage patterns
  • Experience in the Construction or Fleet Management Industry, preferred
  • Experience working in a SaaS environment, preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.
