Today, the chefs of Upper Crust Food Service prepare tens of thousands of meals weekly for students across the country.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Procurement Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing purchasing data, supporting our culinary teams by building accurate order guides through US Foods, and ensuring procurement operations align with budget expectations. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Excel, comfortable pulling and interpreting data, and excited to contribute to a fast-paced and growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze actual vs. budget spending for food and supply purchases.
  • Develop and maintain order guides in US Foods based on menu cycles, vendor availability, and pricing.
  • Run and interpret procurement reports to identify cost-saving opportunities and spending trends.
  • Support field and kitchen teams with procurement-related inquiries and tools.
  • Assist in the implementation of purchasing strategies and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accuracy in procurement data and alignment with budget goals.
  • Monitor vendor performance and compliance with pricing agreements.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
  • Experience working with US Foods or similar foodservice ordering platforms is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in the food service industry or food-related procurement.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, or financial reporting.

The Pay Range For This Role Is

17 - 20 USD per hour(Upper Crust Food Service)
