DATTCO's Accelerated Property Management (APM) division currently has an opening for a Plumber in New Britain, CT. You will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems related to sewer, storm, and water infrastructure. Your expertise will play a key role in ensuring the efficient functioning of these essential systems.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems related to sewer, storm, and water infrastructure.
  • Inspect plumbing systems to identify issues and discuss solutions with clients.
  • Collaborate with team members to plan and execute plumbing projects.
  • Interpret blueprints and drawings to determine the layout and specifications of plumbing systems.
  • Cut, assemble, and install pipes, fittings, valves, and fixtures according to plumbing codes and regulations.
  • Test plumbing systems for leaks and other malfunctions.
  • Repair or replace damaged or worn plumbing parts.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address any concerns or questions from clients.
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma, trade school or equivalent.
  • Valid plumbing license.
  • Proven experience working as a plumber, specifically in sewer, storm, and water plumbing.
  • P-7 Limited Sewer, Storm and Water Certification.
  • Site work and site development experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations.
  • Familiarity with various materials and tools used in sewer, storm, and water plumbing.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
