Core Responsibilities

General Household Management:

  • Pet Care:
  • Manage the daily care of the dogs, including feeding, watering, and overall well-being.
  • Scheduling and oversee veterinary appointments, grooming, and other pet-related tasks.
  • Pick up dog waste every morning.
  • Water Management:
  • Ensure the coffee and ice machines are regularly refilled with water.
  • Coordinate deliveries to maintain a consistent supply of bottled water
  • Package and Deliveries:
  • Handel all incoming packages, ensuring proper organization and distribution.
  • Manage returns or exchanges in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintenance and Repairs:
  • Schedule and coordinate household maintenance and repairs with vendors and service providers.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identity and address potential issues
  • Shopping and Returns:
  • Oversee household shopping, including groceries, supplies, and personal items.
  • Manage returns and exchanges as needed.
  • Online Orders:
  • Track and manage all online purchases and deliveries.
  • Resolve any order issues and ensure household needs are met.
  • Holiday Decorations and Activities:
  • Plan, organize, and manage seasonal and holiday decorations.
  • Coordinate holiday events and activities to create a festive atmosphere.

Vacation Planning And Booking

  • Plan and coordinate family vacations, including booking transportation, accommodations, and activities.
  • Prepare detailed itineraries and ensure all travel arrangements are confirmed.

Calendar Management

  • Maintain and update the household calendar, scheduling appointments, and activities for all members.
  • Manage children's schedules, including school events, extracurricular activities, and appointments.

Childcare Assistance

  • Provide support with children as needed, ensuring their schedules and responsibilities are met.

Financial Oversight

  • Assist with bill management and basic bookkeeping tasks. Coordinate with Sheena and the bookkeeper for Blissful Kids and Whittier Trust accounts.

Vehicle Management

  • Ensure household vehicles are registered, maintained, and clean.
  • Schedule servicing and address mechanical issues promptly.

Performance Expectations

  • Demonstrate proactive planning, problem-solving, and a commitment to excellence in household management.
  • Maintain clear, professional, and open communication with the family, other staff, and external service providers.
  • Adapt to evolving needs and handle responsibilities with discretion, reliability, and professionalism
