Envision Radiology is adding a Full Time Patient Access Manager to our team!
Monday - Friday, 40 hours/week | Position Pay Range $71,050 - $88,800
Summary/Objective
The Patient Access Manager provides strategic leadership to the patient care coordinator and prior authorization teams. Reviews procedures and analytics to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of the scheduling and prior authorization processes. Oversees business and operational aspects while working closely with leadership to meet company goals and objectives. Supports company initiatives by adopting new approaches, practices and processes to deliver unmistakable quality, spectacular service and operational excellence on a consistent basis.

This position provides daily leadership and operational support to the Patient Access Team and Prior Authorization Supervisors. This position also assists with performance management and the hiring of the employees within the department.
Work Environment
This job operates remotely and must adhere to the work at home requirements. There may be travel required for Leadership Training, onsite center visit and/or center collaboration. Travel will be less than 15% of the time.

Job Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
Three plus years’ experience in customer service – healthcare environment preferred
Two plus years’ experience in a supervisory or lead position – preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology – preferred
Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver, and a team player
Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately
Ability to excel in a very fast-pace team environment
Ability to continuously “exceed” company and customer expectation
Strong communication skills & professional demeanor
Education/Certifications
Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent (GED)

Summary/Objective
The Patient Access Manager provides strategic leadership to the patient care coordinator and prior authorization teams. Reviews procedures and analytics to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of the scheduling and prior authorization processes. Oversees business and operational aspects while working closely with leadership to meet company goals and objectives. Supports company initiatives by adopting new approaches, practices and processes to deliver unmistakable quality, spectacular service and operational excellence on a consistent basis.
Essential Functions
- Provides leadership and operational support for the Patient Care Coordinator and Prior Authorization teams.
- Responsible for incoming patient communications, to include but not limited to, inbound scheduling phones, email, online and text notifications. Will assist operational leadership with setup and maintenance of inbound routing.
- Assist Patient Access Supervisors with hiring, coaching, and leading of their teams.
- Tracks and analyzes Key Performance Indicator data trends. Collaborates with Operational and Patient Acquisition teams to develop strategic recommendations to achieve and improve desired service levels and performance. Set and communicate clear expectations of KPI’s to Patient Access teams.
- Prepare and review reports to improve processes, ensure resources are properly allocated, and maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction. Must have a broad knowledge of Contact Center metrics (Call Handle time, abandoned %, conformance, quality, etc.), as well as Prior authorization metrics (payer relations, authorization turnaround times, third party vendor, etc.).
- Conduct staff performance reviews; assess needs, cost/benefit analysis, and other operational assessments related to the team.
- Implements and enforces all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and guidelines, and ensures compliance of policies and procedures.
- Identifies training opportunities to include new hire and ongoing education (i.e. - updated processes, “up-training”, company policies, etc.).
- Supports the Concierge team by aligning operational and marketing needs as it relates to strategic accounts and specialty contracts.
- Monitors patient service feedback and responds to all escalated customer service issues in a timely and professional manner.
