Position Overview

As an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing desktop support across MEI Group’s corporate office and multiple dealership locations. This position plays a key role in maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, and improving technology processes to increase overall efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to technical support requests from internal teams across multiple locations
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues
• Perform routine maintenance on IT systems and equipment
• Analyze and streamline existing IT processes for greater efficiency
• Collaborate with management to implement improved technical procedures
• Assist with additional IT-related tasks and projects as assigned
  
  

Qualifications

• 1+ year of technical support experience
• Strong knowledge of PC hardware and software
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently
• Professional certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) a plus
• Network experience is a plus
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree in IT or related field preferred)
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to occasionally work outside normal business hours if needed
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs., bend, crawl under desks, and perform physical tasks related to hardware setup and maintenance
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a background check
