Job Responsibilities
Under general supervision of the Manager in Charge of Parole and Pardon Services, the incumbent is responsible for the coordination of programs and projects in the Office of Parole and Pardon Services and for providing technical assistance to the SC Board of Paroles and Pardons; performs other duties as required. Coordinates all pardon matters, to include case processing, scheduling, and roster/records/statistical maintenance. Makes all legal notifications prior to and following each pardon hearing, to include applicants, Clerks of Court, SLED, and internal stakeholders (Office of Victims Services, Records, External Affairs, and local offices). This responsibility includes following up with counties regarding information, accuracy, issues and overdue investigations, as well as providing assistance to Pardons applicants, attorneys and other stakeholders.
Minimum And Additional Requirements
A high school diploma andrelevant program experience.
Preferred Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree and two years of related experience. Related experience includes: experience within a criminal justice organization, experience in program design and/or implementation; experience in project design, development, implementation and/or management. A basic working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet programs is preferred.
