Summary
The Organizational Development Specialist plays a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing our people strategy and initiatives. This role is responsible for designing and implementing programs that strengthen performance management, talent identification, succession planning, and development planning. Additionally, this role helps champion efforts that support organizational effectiveness across Simplot while helping cultivate a culture of support and respect ensuring fair treatment and honoring our differences.

Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the talent & succession processes for Simplot.
- Lead the annual talent identification and calibration process for the company. Support and provide communication and tools to HR and business leaders to understand and effectively carry out the associated activities.
- Lead efforts to ensure develop plans are defined, maintained and activated. Partner with HR to consult with leaders developing planning activities.
- Contribute to employee listening efforts and the engagement survey.
- Work with MySimplot and People Services to understand, interpret and communicate talent data to HR stakeholders and company leaders to help them understand the health of their leadership pipeline and associate development efforts.
- Research best industry practices and help vision and socialize potential future direction of talent development and succession planning at Simplot.
- Contribute to design and execution of differentiated development programs for top talent.
- Serve to advance initiatives related to organizational development and effectiveness as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university
Relevant Experience
- 3+ years related experience and/or training
- Demonstrated experience in developing and leading large scale talent programs
- Business acumen and ability to collaborate across boundaries with key stakeholders
- HR Business Partner experience
- Talent & Culture program experience
- Technical programs: SAP & Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
