We're seeking a detail-oriented, people-focused Community Impact Assistant to help grow our donor, grant, and sponsorship programs while embodying our values of kindness, respect, professionalism, and fun.

How You'll Make a Difference
As our Community Impact Assistant, you'll help strengthen the bonds between Bogus Basin and the community we serve. Your time will primarily be spent at our downtown Boise office with occasional days at the mountain recreation area. You'll focus on donor communications, event coordination, grant research, and behind-the-scenes support that powers our community programs, while enjoying strong potential for career growth within the organization.
A Day in the Life
Start your day in the heart of downtown Boise, drafting acknowledgment letters or preparing for an upcoming fundraising event. Some days, you'll head up the mountain to support a community program, connect with guests, or assist in outdoor events. Each day, you'll combine your organizational skills with your passion for outdoor recreation to help bring Bogus Basin's mission to life.

What You'll Do
- Draft thank you and acknowledgment letters, emails, and follow-ups to donors and sponsors.
- Maintain accurate donor and sponsor records in our CRM system.
- Assist with grant research, proposal preparation, and tracking deadlines.
- Coordinate logistics for fundraising events, campaigns, and sponsor outreach.
- Draft outreach materials aligned with Bogus Basin's mission and brand voice.
- Provide general office and administrative support to the Community Impact team.
- Represent Bogus Basin at select community events.
What you bring to Bogus
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new tools.
- Discretion in handling confidential information.
- A passion for and engagement in outdoor recreation.
- Ability to work some weekends and holidays, with occasional outdoor duties.
- Preferred:
- Experience in nonprofit, fundraising, or community outreach.
- Familiarity with donor CRM systems.
- Hourly pay of $20-$22 , depending on your experience and skills.
