A Day in the Life of a Mitigation Manager
As a Mitigation Manager, you drive operational excellence and lead teams to deliver exceptional results for First Onsite. You oversee daily project operations, enforce Environmental, Health, and Safety standards, and maintain quality control while managing project financials, margins, and progress. Your technical expertise in drying and remediation equipment, combined with strong crisis management and conflict resolution skills, ensures projects are executed efficiently and safely, even in the most challenging situations.
You are a relationship-builder and strategic partner, collaborating with sales, insurance brokers, adjusters, and risk management teams to support client satisfaction and business growth. Your leadership fosters team development, performance, and retention while embodying First Onsite's Core Values. With an optimistic, "let's get things done" attitude, you inspire your teams, drive project success, and make a tangible impact on both clients and the organization's financial performance.
Responsibilities:
First Onsite (and its Companies) participates in E-Verify. We will provide the U.S. Social Security Administration (SSA) and, if necessary, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) with information from each new employer's Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure project quality, compliance, and timely completion
- Oversee daily operations, documentation, and communications
- Manage contracts, change orders, budgets, and job financials
- Coordinate subcontractors, technicians, and on-call responses
- Assist Project Managers with scope execution, bids, and permitting
- Monitor project progress, costs, and report updates to leadership
- Interface with clients, brokers, and adjusters to support project delivery
- Maintain equipment, materials, and jobsite documentation
- Respond to emergencies and after-hours needs as required
- 8+years restoration/construction or related industry experience
- Budgeting, cost control, and Time & Materials billing experience
- Skilled in interpreting blueprints, managing permits, and project requests
- 5+ years of management experience, preferred
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid driver's license required
