Position Overview
We seek a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Project Manager to lead mechanical system design projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. This role involves collaborating closely with architects, interior designers, building owners, and internal teams from project inception through construction completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop mechanical designs for various commercial projects, emphasizing HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Collaborate with clients and project teams to ensure designs meet technical, budgetary, and scheduling requirements.
- Produce and oversee detailed construction documents, including drawings, specifications, narratives, and correspondence.
- Lead and mentor support staff to ensure high-quality deliverables and foster professional growth.
- Engage in business development activities such as proposal writing and client interviews to support company growth.
- Ensure quality assurance throughout all project phases and maintain involvement from concept to construction completion.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years (or 10+ years preferred) experience in mechanical systems design for commercial projects.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects while delivering exceptional client service.
