We are currently searching for a Manager, Production Control to join our team. This role will be part of the team assisting planning and production to deliver Fender guitars and basses as dictated on the schedule, assisting in delivering production scheduled priorities daily, weekly, and monthly.

Essential Functions

  • Manage COOIS deployment and adherence KPI’s across the pipeline ensuring the 30-day promise is met for all incoming orders
  • Work with Planning to maintain buffer levels for Bodies and necks for success
  • Work with subassembly teams to process on-time delivery for personalized electronics for the Mod Shop program
  • Provide traceability for NPI and risk models.
  • Integrate closely with the production and planning teams in the Corona factory for production goals including operations managers, team leads on priority builds presented in the schedule
  • Review and adhere to production schedules to meet on time delivery and efficiency goals
  • Proactively communicate risk to the leadership & cross-functional teams in the Corona Plant
  • Work with sourcing to ensure all supplier sourcing decisions net the lowest total cost to our business while upholding supply and quality requirements, and design specifications for Fender Guitars & Basses
  • Respond to change productively, creatively, and proactively in a fast-paced program
  • Maintain compliance, enterprise resource planning master data, and transactional data as required
  • Monitor and report secondary processes in each department ensuring success
  • Create and manage leading and lagging KPI’s for leadership, while proactively communicating treads to drive support on risk mitigation
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Engineering or Science
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience, ops experience preferred (manufacturing, planning and procurement)
  • Experience with Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) and excellent Microsoft Office skills: Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and written, with multiple parties about multiple projects in a clear and effective way
  • Highly motivated and works effectively in multiple teams with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced high-volume environment while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Organized with exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail and time management
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus, but not required
  • Ability to work with all customers in a positive and courteous manner at all times

If this is a remote position, the pay scale disclosed herein may be adjusted further based upon the applicable geographic differential associated with the location from which the successful candidate will work. Please note that it is not typical for a Fender employee to be at or near the top of the pay scale for their role – especially as a new hire – and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Subject to the foregoing, the current pay scale for this position is $110,000 to $123,000 per year.
